Hello and Welcome to MVP Acupuncture & Wellness!

I look forward to helping you on your wellness journey. We are currently booking online at Alchemy House of Yoga and for our initial telehealth clinic. If you can’t find a time that works for you or are unsure which appointment to schedule, email mary@mvpacupuncture.com or text 732-334-8718 and we’ll be happy to help.

Important Booking Information

  • If you have never had an appointment with me through MVP Acupuncture & Wellness, please book an Initial Appointment. Even if you have seen me at another practice, you are considered a new patient to my private practice and must begin with an initial appointment. This allows time to complete your intake and review your health history.
  • Holmdel Acupuncture and MVP Acupuncture & Wellness are separate practices. Patients currently receiving treatment at Holmdel Acupuncture cannot transfer their care to my private practice. To book at Holmdel Acupuncture, call (732) 888-4910 or email info@holmdelacupuncture.com.
  • Please complete your intake forms before your initial appointment.
  • MVP Acupuncture & Wellness does not accept insurance, but we can provide a superbill for potential insurance reimbursement.
  • Payment: A card is required on file but will not be charged until after your appointment. We accept cash, credit card, Zelle, Venmo and PayPal.
  • Cancellation/Late Policy: 12 hours notice is required for cancellations or changes. Less than 12 hours notice, arriving more than 15 minutes late, or missing your appointment will result in a 50% fee.

Mary Paradissis

Dr. Mary V. Paradissis, LAc is an integrative medicine practitioner with a unique background that bridges Western biomedical science and the holistic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With over a decade of clinical experience, she brings together precision, compassion, and whole-person care in every treatment.

Mary began her healthcare career in Australia, earning a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (2010) and a Master of Clinical Science in Clinical Physiology (2011) from Griffith University. She later completed a Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology in 2017. As a registered cardiac sonographer with ASAR and CCI, she served as a lead cardiac sonographer across major diagnostic imaging facilities in South East Queensland, where she became known for her clinical excellence and her warm, patient-centered approach.

Her passion for mind–body medicine and holistic wellness eventually led her to acupuncture—where she found the perfect balance of scientific understanding and intuitive healing. She completed her Master of Science in Acupuncture and went on to earn her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DAc) from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2024.

Mary founded MVP Acupuncture & Wellness in Monmouth County, New Jersey, where she specializes in women’s health, including fertility support, pregnancy and postpartum care, hormonal balance, and stress-related conditions. She is also highly trained in cosmetic acupuncture, offering natural, holistic methods to enhance radiance and support healthy aging. Mary is currently advancing her expertise in reproductive medicine by preparing to sit for the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) exam. This rigorous board certification reflects her commitment to the highest standards in integrative fertility care and her dedication to supporting patients through all stages of their reproductive journeys with the most current, evidence-informed approaches.

By weaving together her foundation in Western medical diagnostics with the wisdom of Eastern medicine, Mary offers care that is thoughtful, evidence-informed, and deeply supportive.
